Arriba Letran!

We are currently on soft launch as we build content for our official website.  Meanwhile, due to demand for updated information, this blog site will serve to disseminate our planning efforts for D-Day, our 25th Grand Silver Homecoming on November 2015.

Firstly, the organization is spearheaded by Vic Beltran and other core group members who have had initial brainstorming and formal planning sessions.  Based on discussions we are setting our sights not simply on the D-Day but anything in between and beyond 2015.  We shall function as a camaraderie and socio-civic group.  Therefore, we incorporated a non-profit non-stock corporation courtesy of our lawyer brothers.

For camaraderie, you hear about basketball and weekend get togethers, birthdays, send-off parties, and it is an essential function to reconnect and strengthen our group.  For socio-civic activities, we of course foster the welfare of all our brothers be it health, legal or financial assistance.  But we have a long way to get there.  Meanwhile, as all organizations do, we will grow and in the process we have to unite and see how we can contribute to all the undertakings that will be laid down in our objectives.

This year, we will produce a concert and a spectacular sports event to generate our initial funds.  We will follow it up with other sporting and social events that will be both fun and contribute financially to our D-Day.
